Soft Sensations – Pleasure & Empowerment for TIAN* with Jul

How can pleasure help us cope with stress, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed? What happens in our bodies when we connect with ourselves and others? And how can we give our bodies more space again to experience joy, curiosity, and vitality? And what does the nervous system have to do with all of this?
In this trauma-sensitive, somatic workshop, we’ll explore the connections between pleasure, the nervous system and self-care. Through breath, movement, (self-)touch and voice, we’ll discover how to become aware of and regulate our nervous system, helping us experience greater safety, vitality, and connection. We’ll work with gentle physical exercises, reflection and discussion, creating a space to discover pleasure not as a luxury, but as a resource for resilience, self-care, and empowerment. We’ll explore how we can tune into ourselves more and more—and what happens when this experience becomes collective.
