TIN the Future -
Welcoming Gender Diversity
We are pleased to present our innovation project, which has been running since January 1, 2025. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) as part of the federal program “Demokratie leben!”.
With our project "TIN the Future"we aim to reduce group-based discrimination and hostility towards trans, intersex, agender, and non-binary (tian) people, while advancing social and institutional processes of inclusion. We focus on education and awareness-raising for professionals, teams, and organizations in the healthcare and child and youth welfare sectors or related disciplines.
We develop tailored workshops and concepts for comprehensive process support, helping medical practices, clinics, youth facilities, complaint centers, and training institutes to become more tian-inclusive.
The project also involves professional networking, consulting for experts, the creation and distribution of thematic materials, and support programs for the tian community itself.
We place great importance on exchange with medical institutions, youth welfare services, political actors, and organizations, as well as individuals who share our goals: a self-determined life for everyone, a society that embraces diversity, and a future of solidarity and mutual respect.
