About the film:
“No box forme. An Intersex Story”. Director: Floriane Devigne
Intersex is often still treated as a condition that needs to be ‘cured’ and ‘corrected’. Intersex activists are fighting back against this. The film shows how intersex people are trying to reclaim their bodies and construct their identities. It questions why our society is structured in such a binary way.
This event, organized by TIAM e.V. as part of the project “TIN* Resilience ThroughCommunity – Connecting Trans, Inter, and Non-Binary Individuals Across Regions“is funded by der Stiftung Deutsches Hilfswerk / der Deutsche Fernsehlotterie.
