Einladung zum Queer Art and Activism Camp beim Fokus-Festival Görlitz!

Möchtest du aktiv für die Sichtbarkeit von tin* Personen und Queers eintreten und das Hinterland mit eigenen künstlerischen und aktivistischen Beiträgen stärken? Dann sei  bei unserem Queer Art and Activism Camp vom 10. bis 17. August 2025 in Görlitz dabei!

Unter dem Motto „unSICHTBAR“ setzen wir ein kraftvolles Zeichen für Vielfalt, Sichtbarkeit und die Rechte von tin* und queeren Communities. Das Camp bietet dir die Möglichkeit, dich aktiv zu vernetzen, gemeinsam kreative und politische Aktionen zu entwickeln und direkt beim Fokus-Festival sichtbar zu machen. Unser Ziel ist es, die Stimmen und Perspektiven von tin* und queeren Personen in den ostdeutschen Bundesländern, Polen und überregional zu stärken und sichtbar zu machen.

Für wen ist das Camp?
Das Camp richtet sich an tin* Personen und queere Verbündete aus (Ost-)Deutschland und Polen zwischen 18 und 99 Jahren, die aktiv für Sichtbarkeit und Gleichberechtigung eintreten möchten.

Was erwartet dich?

• Workshops zu Körperarbeit, Introspektion, Schreiben und Resilienz, um persönliche Stärke und Aktivismus zu verbinden
• Kreative Outputs: Kunst, Texte, Performances – Sichtbarkeit durch Kunst
• Gemeinsame und eigene aktivistische Ideen und Aktionen einbringen
• Teilnahme und gemeinsames Mitgestalten an der Queer Area im Rahmenprogramm des Fokus-Festivals, um queere Positionen aktiv zu fördern und sichtbar zu machen
• Austausch und Vernetzung in einer offenen, respektvollen Atmosphäre
• Kennenlernen lokaler queerer Strukturen in Görlitz
• Möglichkeit bei gemeinsamen Aktivitäten neue Freund*innenschaften zu schließen

Ablauf & Gestaltung:

• Sonntagabend 10.8.: Anreise und gemeinsames Ankommen, Kennenlernen
• Montag bis Mittwoch: Workshops und Austausch an den Vor- und Nachmittagen, kreative und aktivistische Abende
• Donnerstag: Abschluss der kreativen und aktivistischen Arbeiten, Vorbereitung der Beiträge für das Festival, Vernetzung mit anderen queeren Projekten
• Freitag & Samstag: Teilnahme am Fokus-Festival, Präsentation eigener Beiträge, aktive Mitgestaltung bei „Queer Area“, weitere Vernetzung
• Sonntag: Gemeinsames Frühstück, Rückblick, Abbau, Ausblick auf zukünftige Vernetzungen und AbschlussOptional:
  Teilnahme am CSD Bautzen am Sonntag, 10.08.2025 – eine großartige Gelegenheit, queere Sichtbarkeit auch außerhalb Görlitz zu zeigen!

Was kostet das Camp?
Die solidarische Sliding Scale liegt zwischen 155€ bis 270€. Der Normalbetrag liegt bei 210€. Wir möchten Menschen mit weniger finanziellen Mitteln die Teilnahme ermöglichen, daher können diese einen ermäßigten Preis von 155€ zahlen. Fragt uns dazu gern an. Um günstigere Plätze zu ermöglichen und die Vereinsarbeit zu unterstützen, können Menschen mit höherem Budget auch 270€+ beitragen.
Darin sind Verpflegung und ein Teil des Programms enthalten. Die Übernachtung im Gruppenraum und Workshops sind kostenlos.
Sollte die Teilnahme aus finanziellen Gründen ein Problem darstellen, meldet euch gern bei uns, wir finden eine Lösung.

Barrierefreiheit:

Der Gruppen- und Workshopraum sind nur über mehrere Stufen erreichbar. Die Schlafräume sind über das Treppenhaus zu erreichen, es gibt leider keinen Aufzug. Um den Teilnahmebeitrag möglichst gering zu halten, haben wir auf günstige Unterkünfte gesetzt und können leider keine ebenerdigen oder mit Fahrstuhl erreichbaren Räume anbieten.

Vom Bahnhof Görlitz sind es 7 min zu Fuß zum Veranstaltungsort.

Invitation to the Queer Art and Activism Camp at the Fokus Festival Görlitz!
Would you like to actively advocate for the visibility of tin* persons and queers and strengthen the hinterland with your own artistic and activist contributions? Then join us for our Queer Art and Activism Camp from August 10 to 17, 2025, in Görlitz!
Under the motto “(in)visible” we are sending a powerful message for diversity, visibility, and the rights of tin* and queer communities. The camp offers you the opportunity to network actively, develop creative and political actions together, and make them visible during the Fokus Festival. Our goal is to amplify and highlight the voices and perspectives of tin* and queer individuals in the East German federal states, Poland, and beyond.

Who is the camp for?
The camp is aimed at tin* persons and queer allies from (East) Germany and Poland, aged 18 to 99, who want to actively promote visibility and equality.

What can you expect?
• Workshops on body work, introspection, writing, and resilience to connect personal strength with activism
• Creative outputs: art, texts, performances – visibility through art
• Contributing your own and collective activist ideas and actions
• Participation and co-creation in the Queer Area as part of the Fokus Festival program to actively promote and showcase queer positions
• Exchange and networking in an open, respectful atmosphere
• Getting to know local queer structures in Görlitz
• Opportunities to make new friends through joint activities

Schedule & Design:
• Sunday evening, August 10: Arrival, settling in, and getting to know each other
• Monday to Wednesday: Workshops and exchanges in the mornings and afternoons, creative and activist evenings
• Thursday: Finalizing creative and activist work, preparing contributions for the festival, networking with other queer projects
• Friday & Saturday: Participation in the Fokus Festival, presenting your own contributions, actively shaping the “Queer Area,” further networking
• Sunday: Shared breakfast, reflection, cleanup, outlook on future connections, and closing

Optional:
Participation in the CSD Bautzen on Sunday, August 10, 2025 – a great opportunity to showcase queer visibility outside Görlitz!

What does the camp cost?
The solidarity sliding scale ranges from €155 to €270. The standard fee is €210. We want to enable people with fewer financial means to participate, so they can pay a reduced price of €155. Feel free to ask us about this. To support affordable spots and our organizational work, people with a higher budget can contribute €270+
This includes meals and part of the program. Accommodation in the group room and workshops are free of charge.
If financial reasons make participation difficult, please contact us – we will find a solution.

Accessibility:
The group and workshop room are only accessible via several steps. The sleeping rooms are reached via the staircase; unfortunately, there is no elevator. To keep participation costs low, we have chosen affordable accommodations and cannot offer ground-floor or elevator-accessible rooms.

From Görlitz train station, it’s a 7-minute walk to the venue.

Chcesz aktywnie działać na rzecz widoczności tin* osób i społeczności queer oraz wzmacniać region własnymi artystycznymi i aktywistycznymi wkładami? Dołącz do nas na nasz Obóz Sztuki i Aktywizmu Queer w dniach od 10 do 17 sierpnia 2025 roku w Görlitz!
Pod hasłem „(nie)widzialni ” wyrażamy silny sprzeciw wobec wykluczenia i promujemy różnorodność, widoczność oraz prawa tin* i społeczności queer. Obóz daje Ci możliwość nawiązywania kontaktów, wspólnego tworzenia kreatywnych i politycznych działań oraz ich prezentacji podczas Fokus-Festival. Naszym celem jest wzmocnienie głosów i perspektyw tin* i osób queer w krajach z regionu wschodnich Niemiec, Polsce i na arenie międzynarodowej.

Obóz jest skierowany do tin* osób i sojuszników queer z (Wschodnich) Niemiec i Polski w wieku od 18 do 99 lat, którzy chcą aktywnie działać na rzecz widoczności i równości.

• Warsztatów dotyczących pracy z ciałem, introspekcji, pisania i odporności, aby połączyć siłę osobistą z aktywizmem
• Kreatywnych działań: sztuki, tekstów, performansów – widoczność poprzez sztukę
• Wkładu własnych i wspólnych pomysłów oraz działań aktywistycznych
• Uczestnictwa i współtworzenia strefy queer w ramach programu Fokus-Festival, aby aktywnie promować i pokazywać queerowe stanowiska
• Wymiany doświadczeń i nawiązywania kontaktów w otwartej, pełnej szacunku atmosferze
• Poznania lokalnych struktur queer w Görlitz
• Możliwości zawarcia nowych przyjaźni podczas wspólnych aktywności

Harmonogram i forma:
• Niedzielny wieczór, 10.08.: przyjazd i wspólne poznanie się
• Poniedziałek do środy: warsztaty i wymiana doświadczeń rano i po południu, kreatywne i aktywistyczne wieczory
• Czwartek: podsumowanie prac kreatywnych i aktywistycznych, przygotowania do udziału w festiwalu, nawiązywanie kontaktów z innymi projektami queer
• Piątek i sobota: udział w Fokus-Festival, prezentacja własnych działań, aktywne uczestnictwo w „Queer Area”, dalsza integracja
• Niedziela: wspólne śniadanie, podsumowanie, sprzątanie, spojrzenie w przyszłość i zakończenie

Opcjonalnie:
Udział w CSD Bautzen w niedzielę, 10.08.2025 – świetna okazja, aby pokazać widoczność queer również poza Görlitz!

Ile kosztuje obóz?
Skala solidarnościowa wynosi od 155€ do 270€. Standardowa opłata to 210€. Chcemy umożliwić udział osobom o mniejszych możliwościach finansowych, dlatego można zapłacić obniżoną cenę 155€. Zapraszamy do kontaktu w tej sprawie. Aby umożliwić tańsze miejsca i wspierać działalność stowarzyszenia, osoby z większym budżetem mogą wpłacić 270€ lub więcej.

W cenie zawarte jest wyżywienie oraz część programu. Nocleg w pokoju grupowym i warsztaty są bezpłatne.
Jeśli udział z powodów finansowych stanowi problem, skontaktuj się z nami – znajdziemy rozwiązanie.

Dostępność:
Sala grupowa i warsztatowa są dostępne tylko po schodach. Pokoje do spania są dostępne przez klatkę schodową; niestety, nie ma windy. Aby utrzymać jak najniższy koszt uczestnictwa, wybraliśmy tanie zakwaterowanie i nie możemy zaoferować pokoi na parterze ani z dostępem windą.

Dojazd i rejestracja:
Z dworca kolejowego w Görlitz do miejsca wydarzenia jest 7 minut pieszo.
